Die Austrian Business Aviation Association, auch kurz ABAA genannt, ist eine Interessenvertretung der Geschäftsluftfahrt (auch Business Aviation genannt) in Österreich.
Die ABAA deckt mit Ihren Mitglieder die gesamte Business Aviation Sparte ab. So findet man Vertreter namhafter Hersteller, die Operator und Broker, sowie die verbunden Partner aus Recht und Finanzwesen, Handling &Versicherungen wider. Die Aufgabe der ABAA ist die Vertretung und Förderung der Interessen der Business Aviation in Österreich und in Europa. Dabei hält die ABAA engen Kontakt zu allen relevanten nationalen und internationalen Behörden und Institutionen. (u.a. Austro Control, Wirtschaftskammer, Luftverband, EBAA)
Die ABAA befasst sich mit Themen wie dem einheitlichen europäischen Luftraum, österreichischen Standortvermarktung für Luftfahrzeugbesitzer, den Gesetzgebungsvorhaben der Europäischen Agentur für Flugsicherheit, neue Technologien im Bereich der Luftfahrt, dem Zugang zu Flughäfen/Luftraum und vieles mehr.
Die ABAA ist Mitglied des europäischen Dachverbandes European Business Aviation Association mit Sitz in Brüssel.
Die ABAA ist ein eingetragener Verein und hat ihren Sitz in Wien.
The Austrian Business Aviation Association, also known as ABAA, is an advocacy group for business aviation in Austria.
The ABAA covers the entire business aviation sector with its members. You will find representatives of well-known manufacturers, operators and brokers, as well as the associated partners from the legal and financial, handling and insurance industries. The task of the ABAA is the representation and promotion of the interests of business aviation in Austria and in Europe. The ABAA maintains close contact with all relevant national and international authorities and institutions. (e.g. Austro Control, Chamber of Commerce, EBAA).
The ABAA deals with topics such as the Single European Sky, the marketing of the Austrian Register for Aircraft Ownership, the legislative work of the European Aviation Safety Agency, new technologies in the field of aviation, access to airports and airspace and much more.
The ABAA is member of the council of European Business Aviation Association based in Brussels.
The ABAA is a registered association and has its seat in Vienna.
